my treatment was first class
I was referred by my GP, my first appointment cancelled by the hospital. I kept emailing asking for another appointment. After three attempts I contacted PALS, the complaints department, and was informed the system had ‘lost my details’. I was in contact with outpatients and also gynae begging for help after waiting 11 months for a gynae specialist. I was given details of secretarial numbers to chase and beg for help myself. It’s the most helpless and powerless I’ve ever felt.
The standard i thought was very high in general.
My husband attended A and E on 4 February in the evening. The service was excellent. The staff were second to none. From Dan the nurse, Dr Heesmah (sorry I know the spelling is wrong - she was young and very professional and reassuring) to the medical student doing an HCA role) - all were patient, kind, respectful and nothing was too much trouble. We can’t express in words how truly grateful we were for the service he received. They all seemed to be going above and beyond. Thank you. We felt reassured the whole time we were in A and E.
From the first consultation to the end of treatment review I was treated with care, compassion and dignity. If I was concerned about any part of treatment or medication I was given I could call my contact nurse Andrew Hunnisett.
The whole Rosmere experience throughout my Radiotherapy was a calming one I never felt uneasy or scared the whole team from Consultant mine was Tracey Elliis,Andrew as mentioned and all the specialist radiographers I had the pleasure of meeting were truly professional.
I can't praise their work enough.
After a 10 hour operation and being back on war, I had one to one nursing for the first 12 hours , i got lots of care and plenty of reasurrance. I could not fault the attention I received from the staff Ward. Well done to a fabulous gruop of people.
I have to say can't recommend and amend raw Preston Hospital enough all the staff took very good care of me and be very attentive to my injuries.
I have to say out of all the hospitals I have have visited this has to be the best one 10 out of 10
Treatment at the Rosemere centre for radiotherapy was excellent. The staff couldn’t be more kind caring and comforting. They made what could’ve been an unpleasant experience so much better. Thank you all so much
My hubby finished his radiotherapy treatment today 14th March 2022, he had 20 treatments, the care he was shown was absolutely amazing, nothing was too much trouble for the staff of LA3, especially Katie, caring, understanding and thoughtful. Thank you so much for looking after my hubby, Paddy Fleming.
The band 2 staff were lovely the nurses were mostly fantastic apart from one who gave me the wrong meds and was very uncaring. The Dr's however need to learn how to document what they want the nursing staff to do and not tell them to use a canula that has tissued to give iv antibiotics!
The food is disgusting make sure you take lots of snacks and even pot noodles.
I was left in agony as I couldn't get anyone to believe the pain meds didn't work for me.
